Sleepybed

Hostelworld: Sleepy Bed is a ongoing project started in 2010. It is a photo series capturing the intimacy between the photographer – myself – and strangers with whom I share the same hostel bedroom. The images come from my own experience of sleeping at hostels around the world, as a way to own that moment of sensual connection with these unknown men. Some of the portraits have been intertwined with engravings, using abstracted forms as a way to connect with these bodies.
