I, Visual Impaired
Photography Installation
C-print on Light Box, Zinc Containers, Sound
5 sets, 107 x 107 x 43cm each

I carried with me a stereotypical impression of blindness when I started my conversation and workshop with a group of students in Ebenezer School for Visual Impaired. I found myself as an outsider.

However, the students are not a group of people who are labeled as those who "need help", and learning visual skills for them allow them to be "normal". They want to be the insider in a visible world.

This is an installation work regarding the documentation of a relationship built by both sides with photography and sound. The processing focuses on the visual experience between us.
