KURENBOH Chohouin Buddhist Temple Gallery, Tokyo, Japan, 2025
In this art space repurposed from a Buddhist temple, Yeung stages a meditative experience that leads the audience into self reflection. Core to the exhibition is Conch Juice (Seven Emotions), which blends seven different ingredients to create seven smells that correspond to each of the seven emotions joy, sadness, anger, fear, disgust, contempt, and surprise. The olfactory stimulation of the work brings the audience on a sensorial journey that opens up their inner spirit.
